#2 Alameda Mayor’s Hometown Holiday Weekend


Alameda's Holiday Skating

Rain or shine, Alameda’s Hometown Holiday festivities take place on Oak Street between Santa Clara and Lincoln. Activities include skating, carriage rides and a reindeer petting zoo. And all are free to the community.

Skating takes place between 12 pm and 4 pm. Many time slots are still available for walk-ins.

At the Carnegie building located at 2264 Santa Clara Avenue, photo opportunities are available with Santa from 1 pm to 2:30 pm.

Horse-drawn carriage rides are available from 12:30 pm to 3:30 pm. And live reindeer are available in a petting zoo from 1 pm to 3 pm.

All of these events are free to the community.
